Job Opportunity – Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 16–10 bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic IMCU environment treating a diverse patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and respiratory failure
- Manage patients with complex conditions such as COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
- Gain experience with critical infusion therapies including heparin drips
- Collaborative team environment with manageable patient ratios to ensure quality care delivery
- Contract assignment with immediate start availability
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Intermediate or step-down unit experience strongly preferred
