The Registered Nurse must have strong telemetry skills. 3-4 patients per RN is the expected ratio. The nurse may be required to float to different units as needed. Floating to additional facilities may occur. Availability for weekend shifts is required. Maintaining up-to-date certifications is crucial. Candidates must be flexible and adaptable to various clinical settings. Preferred candidates will have prior charge experience. Knowledge of computerized documentation systems is necessary. The nursing role requires management of telemetry and interpretation of cardiac rhythms. Non-invasive airway management skills are important. Experience with O2 protocols and peripheral line management is required. Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment compliance are essential. All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in essential nursing skills and procedures. This role supports adult inpatient care across various units. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team is necessary. This position includes caring for a diverse patient population with various diagnoses. Potential for rapid response team activation may be required. The nurse will participate in the care and management of patients requiring specialized interventions.
