This population is both ICU and advanced care. Travel nurses utilized in the critical care population. Wound nurses will complete extensive burn wound dressings. Agency nurse will not be asked to perform burn dressings. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing according to the unit's needs. Floating is expected based on staffing and patient needs. Travelers will float to other areas as necessary. Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Modification or cancellation of shifts may occur due to low census. Candidates must complete lab work and EKG assessments within specific timeframes after signing the contract. References are not required. Candidates must have no past license disciplinary action. Epic charting experience is required. The role involves caring for ventilated patients and telemetry monitoring.
