Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,707 per week in Rock Island, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of previous stepdown experience required; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: State license required; Illinois and Iowa Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines experience required - Medication titration experience with amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban required - Profile should include driver’s license - Work history/resume required - Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required - License verification required - One supervisory reference required Description: The traveler will be a member of the interdisciplinary team. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

This unit has historically maintained a patient ratio of 1:7. There is a high volume of open travel needs to improve this ratio. The more travelers who fill the vacancies, the lower the ratio will be. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
