Description

Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Must have prior travel experience Description: Float Pool RN needed for day shift. Responsible for floating to various units, including Progressive Care and Medical Surgical Units. Epic charting system experience preferred. Must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience in managing cardiac drips and telemetry is essential. Candidates must demonstrate skills in various nursing procedures including but not limited to managing ports and administering blood products. Ability to perform phlebotomy and handle isolation precautions is necessary. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements is mandatory, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team are essential. Robust time management skills required to effectively handle patient care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and care for patients with various medical conditions.
