This role will involve working within a mixed acuity unit, providing post-operative and complex care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities of the PCU Registered Nurse

• Provide high-quality care to surgical and general medical patients
• Manage wound care, including wound dressings and wound vac management
• Administer medications, including heparin and insulin gtts
• Perform blood administration and manage traction systems
• Deliver care for patients requiring high flow and stable BiPAP
• Handle PCA pain management effectively

Requirements of the PCU Registered Nurse

• BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of STAC experience, 3 preferred
• Experience in stepdown or Tele environments
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
