This role involves working in a mixed-acuity environment within a dynamic surgical trauma unit. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU- Manage patient care for trauma post-surgical, MVA, elective surgeries, and complex ortho injuries.
- Administer blood products and perform detailed wound care and management, including wound vac.
- Monitor and maintain chest tubes, drains, and traction devices.
- Deliver high-flow oxygen therapy and provide stable BiPAP and tracheostomy care.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU- Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of STAC Stepdown experience.
- Experience in blood administration, skeletal and bucks traction, and advanced wound care.
