Description:
This is a night position with a 4x12 schedule.
Travelers must have two years of Med-Surg experience.
Candidates must be comfortable floating to Step Down/PCU units as needed.
The Med-Surg role frequently requires floating to PCU and other Med-Surg/Tele units.
The staff-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5 in Step Down and 1:5-6 in Med-Surg.
Candidates should confirm their willingness to float frequently.
Pediatric patients will not be seen by travelers without pediatric experience.
First-time travelers are accepted for this position.
Candidates with any license or background issues will not be accepted.
This position requires the ability to manage a variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, respiratory failure, and cardiac conditions.
Expected duties involve standard nursing practices, handling of IVs, and monitoring telemetry.
Candidates should be adaptable to work in various settings within the facility.
