Travel experience will suffice. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: This position involves working in a step down unit. The nurse will provide care for patients with heart and lung conditions. There is potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population. The role requires the nurse to work every other holiday. Nurses must comply with a nicotine-free requirement, applicable to travelers. This includes a negative drug screen within 12 months of the start date. All certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. References from supervisors or managers in the specialty must be provided. All candidates must be nicotine-free unless they qualify for an exemption. Background checks will be conducted, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Candidates should note that extensions for assignments are available up to 18 months. A break of 6 months is required before returning unless client approval is obtained.
