Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Acute Leukemia and Hematology Unit – Ohio
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night rotation or Nights only). If accepting a rotating contract, shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on department needs. Weekend coverage variable based on unit needs.

- Specialty care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients in a medical unit with high acuity
- Nurse-to-patient ratio goal of 1:4, with occasional 1:5 assignments
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- 72-hour comprehensive orientation provided
- No chemotherapy certification required for this position
- Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
Requirements:
- Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience with at least 1 year of PCU/Step-Down experience
- Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, central line management, PICC lines, and feeding tube care
- EPIC charting experience required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will be screened for client review
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
