Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – New Hampshire

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Derry, New Hampshire

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend or equivalent rotation; 4:1 patient ratio; 20-bed Progressive Care Unit with multidisciplinary team support

Highlights:
  • Progressive Care Unit focused on telemetry monitoring, cardiac patients, and critical drip management
  • Case mix includes dysrhythmias, pre-and post-cardiac catheterization patients, and pacemaker care
  • Unit utilizes GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps, and Expanse EMR system
  • Flexible staffing model with 5 RNs and 2 LNAs per shift, adjusted based on patient volume
  • Opportunity to float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, or Emergency Department for holds as needed
  • Professional dress code with no required scrub color
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire required at time of submission
  • Compact license (multi-state) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
  • Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIAH certification required
  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience essential
  • Pre-and post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care experience preferred
  • Previous HCA experience is a plus
