Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Modified Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing with cardiac telemetry care experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Cardiac telemetry care experience - Knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Experience working with a diverse patient population including myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment is required.
