Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, weekdays and rotating weekends, rotating holidays. 3:1 patient ratio. 4 weekend shifts per 4-week contract period.

  • Experience with chronic ventilated patients and post-lung transplant care

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care/stepdown nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, ventilator management, and blood product administration
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
  • Willingness to float within the healthcare system as needed
  • Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
