Must-Have:
- Cardiac drip experience with titration and management is a hard stop requirement.
Description:
1 year or first-time travelers welcome for PCU/Stepdown RN position.
Candidates may choose one holiday either Thanksgiving or Christmas but cannot have both.
Stepdown or PCU nurses needed with experience in managing and titrating cardiac drips.
Position may float between units if overstaffed, with travelers being the first to float to Tele or MS floors.
Weekends are required every other weekend.
The expected patient ratios are 1:4-5.
48 hours of work are approved.
Type of facility is a short-term acute care and trauma center with a total of 629 staffed beds.
Scrub color is any RN color.
Charting system is Epic.
Special requirements include:
- Must manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Patient age groups are adults and geriatrics.
- Unit holds a daily census with special procedures and interdisciplinary support from various teams.
- Patient diagnoses include CHF, Afib RVR, chest pain, and other cardiac-related issues.
- Equipment includes cardiac monitoring and handling of cardiac drips.
References required covering the past year within the last 3 years.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
