Schedule: Standard unit schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation. No on-call requirements.

Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
- Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Skills checklist pertinent to PCU specialty (current within 1 year)
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Recent travel work history highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and provide skilled nursing services according to physician-authorized care plans
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, and response to patient needs
- Function as team leader and resource, delegating and providing direction to support staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to establish and evaluate patient goals and outcomes
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and participate in care plan revisions using evidence-based practice
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and facility-specific policies
