Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience License: Valid state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS certification required Must-Have: Proficiency in IV start Telemetry monitoring experience Experience with Epic Description: Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Shifts will either be rotating or straight nights. Schedule is 3x12 hours per week. On-call duty is required. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU setting. Previous travel experience is preferred. Must be proficient in starting IVs and telemetry monitoring. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Candidates must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. Flexible schedule required for weekends and rotating holidays. Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisor or manager. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must comply with credentialing processes timely. All RNs must have a valid state or compact license upon submission. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
