Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care within the last 3 years. License: RN license required. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience. Vent and transplant experience preferred. Description: Traveler will work in both acute care and intermediate care units. Evening or night shifts of 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM are required. Schedules will include Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays. Experience in telemetry and managing patients on various medical devices is required. Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. Responsibilities include caring for patients with lung and esophageal diseases, as well as assisting with various thoracic procedures. The role involves developing a dynamic unit that focuses on teamwork and evidence-based nursing practices. Critical thinking and innovative approaches to patient care are expected. Involvement in interdisciplinary support services will be integral to the role. Experience in IMC or surgical post-operative care is mandatory, with preference given to candidates with thoracic experience. Travelers may be required to float to different units as needed.
