Patient ratios are 1:5. Certifications required include ACLS and BCLS. An EKG test will be conducted upon arrival. Priority will be given to candidates with experience managing patients with cardiac conditions, including chest pain, syncope, heart failure, and more. Candidates will also manage patients recovering from procedures such as stent placements and cardioversions. Special procedures involved include managing and titrating drips for medications like Lasix, Heparin, and Cardizem. Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring is essential. The patient population will include adults and geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support services are available for enhanced patient care. Travelers within a specified radius may be subject to a reduced rate.
