Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Tele Intermediate Stepdown Unit. The unit has 26 beds and provides care for various conditions such as CHF, COVID pneumonia, Afib with RVR, tachy/ brady syndrome, and syncope. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5. The unit does not have ventilators but does utilize Bipap, Cpap, and HF/Vapotherm. There is 24/7 pharmacy support available. Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure and arrhythmias. There is an expectation for every other weekend and holiday shifts. Nursing staff is required to adhere to facility policies, which includes drug-free standards. Successfully selected candidates may be expected to float to different units as necessary. The charting system utilized within the unit is EPIC. No specific scrub colors are mandated, allowing the option to wear personal scrubs.
