# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – Virginia**Start Date:** August 17, 2026**Location:** Richmond, Virginia**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); weekend rotation includes every third Friday and Saturday plus one additional Friday or Saturday per schedule; holiday coverage required**Highlights:**- 25-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio- Fast-paced environment handling admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures- Utilize Meditech EMR system with standard cardiac equipment including EKG machines, Hoyer lifts, and LifePak monitors- Collaborative team structure with dedicated charge nurse, unit secretary, and tech support on each shift- Minimal floating to Med-Surg units- 13-week assignment with potential for extension**Requirements:**- Current RN license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)- Telemetry experience with demonstrated ability to read and interpret EKGs- BLS and ACLS certifications required- Ability to prioritize and modify patient care in response to rapidly changing conditions- Strong communication skills with timely physician notification of patient status changes- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced cardiac care environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work with a dedicated cardiac team in a supportive, structured environment where teamwork and positive attitudes are valued.
