TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Opportunity – Acute Leukemia and Hematology RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights rotating based on department needs); shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period; weekend coverage variable based on unit needs

Highlights:

  • Specialty focus on newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients (oncology experience preferred but not required)
  • Goal staffing ratio of 1:4, may flex to 1:5
  • 24-bed unit with daily census of approximately 22 patients; adult and geriatric population
  • EPIC charting system with GE telemetry monitoring
  • 72-hour orientation provided
  • May float to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units as needed
  • No chemotherapy certification required
  • Strong interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
  • At least 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
  • Current, active acute care experience (worked consistently within the last 12 months)
  • Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIHSS, ONS Chemotherapy Certification preferred
  • Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line/PICC line management, and feeding tube care
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
  • 2 professional references required (at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
  • Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will be screened for review
