Scheduling is completed over a six-week period with day and night shifts available. RNs are required to work six weekend shifts within this scheduling timeframe. Holiday shifts will be rotated among the staff. Floating may occur to med/surg and all areas in the facility, depending on patient care needs. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs. Orientation consists of classroom training followed by on-the-job orientation shifts. This role is in a high-flow unit with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges.
