The unit has a total of 34 beds with telemetry capabilities. Patients are admitted with various neurological diagnoses, including stroke, seizures, and neuromuscular disorders. Neurosurgery patients may have conditions related to head, neck, and back trauma, as well as elective surgeries. ENT patients often undergo procedures such as radical neck surgeries. Other medical services provided in this unit include trauma, orthopedics, and general surgery. The unit supports an interdisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Registered Nurses may be required to float within their scope of practice as needed. Candidates must be willing to adhere to policies regarding natural nails and background checks. All candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Modules will be assigned during orientation and are required for compliance.
