Experience working with cardiovascular surgery patients
Description:
We are seeking a strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown nurse.
The nurse will be responsible for managing patients recovering from cardiac surgery after ICU.
Experience with chest tubes and monitoring dysrhythmias is essential.
The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts during the day.
Every other weekend work is required.
The nurse will provide care for patients in a telemetry setting.
Compliance with the COVID-19 vaccination requirement is mandatory.
The flu vaccine is required during flu season.
Requests for medical or religious exemptions will be reviewed.
The nurse should possess skills in various areas, including cardiac drips management.
Previous experience with telemetry monitoring is preferred.
The ability to manage high-acuity patients is important.
