Description:
Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
Work in an environment with a patient ratio of 1:5.
Responsibility includes floating between multiple units as needed.
Weeks consist of a required combination of weekend shifts.
Engage in holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments as needed.
Complete assessments and provide treatments for a variety of conditions.
Utilize skills such as interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, wound care, and sepsis management.
Administer medications and perform necessary procedures including pre/post cardiac catheterization care.
Involve in patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Stay current with certifications and training requirements.
Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards of care.
Expected to handle a diverse patient population.
Utilize charting systems effectively for documentation.
