Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Neuro Trauma – New Hampshire
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or Night shift available; 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend requirement; no on-call
Highlights:
- 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit providing critical monitoring and specialized care
- Experience with advanced equipment including bedside monitors, end tidal CO2 monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic ventilators, and subdural drains
- Meditech EMR system in use across the facility
- Opportunity to perform specialized procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring
- Collaborative team environment with consistent staffing ratios and dedicated aide support
- Float to various inpatient units including ICU and ED for professional development and diverse clinical experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state licensure
- Telemetry and Step-down experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
- Neuro and trauma experience strongly preferred
