Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Highlights:
- Specialized abdominal transplant unit caring for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
- Patient diagnoses include transplant recovery, rejection monitoring, infections, acute kidney injury, hepatology, and GI bleed
- Epic charting system experience required
- First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of experience required
- Float requirements within the health system as needed
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of PCU, stepdown, or telemetry experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Skills in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, central line and PICC line management, accessing/managing ports, and IV insulin protocols
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
