Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night schedule every 4 weeks (straight shifts for 4 consecutive weeks, then rotate to opposite shift), every other weekend (Friday & Saturday)

  • Diverse case mix including solid tumor and hematology patients, post-surgical care, COPD, sepsis, and pneumonia management
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • 32 hours of orientation provided to support successful transition

Requirements:
  • Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry experience (current and consistent within the last 12 months)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
  • Previous telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience with strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
  • Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
  • Proficiency in isolation precautions, IV management, and oxygen administration
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • 2 professional references (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
  • Willingness to complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
  • Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
