Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, float pool assignment with rotating weekends as needed

Highlights:
  • Float pool position serving progressive care units with step-down/PCU-level patients across affiliated hospital locations
  • 3:1 patient ratio maintained consistently across all shifts
  • Epic charting system utilized throughout the organization
  • 36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • May float to nearby affiliated locations within walking distance (approximately 5-6 minute walk)
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of application)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care or step-down nursing experience
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Proficiency in IV starts and cardiac telemetry monitoring
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Skills in arterial line management, central line care, cardiac drips, vasoactive medication management, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or director)
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
  • Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
