Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position.
This role is part of an interdisciplinary team.
The nurse will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
The nurse will be required to float to all inpatient areas as well as the emergency department.
Patient ratios are typically 1:4, but can go up to 1:5.
Typical patient cases include congestive heart failure, ablation, angiogram, stroke, pacemaker placement, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
The traveler will be required to work two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.
Limit of one day off request will be accepted between specific holiday periods.
