Patient ratios will be RN: 1:3-4 and Tech: 1:6. The nurse will manage chest tubes, wound vacs, Bipap, non-titrating vasoactive or antiarrhythmic drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Temporary pacemaker experience and post-femoral sheath care are beneficial. The nurse will also handle insulin drips, general drain, ostomy care, and IV starts. Resource nursing support will be available 24/7. You may float to Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, or Critical Care Unit as needed. Weekend rotation every other weekend may be required. Time off requests are acceptable up to 7 days and holiday requests must align with unit needs. Scrub color must be professional.
