This is a 13-week assignment. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. An active compact license is required for submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. The unit has a total of 20 beds with a staff of 5 RNs and 2 LNAs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1. Equipment includes GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps. Candidates should possess strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience. Experience with pre-post cardiac cath and pacer patient care is preferred. We are looking for self-directed, confident individuals with strong communication skills. Team players are highly encouraged to apply. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend or equivalent if staffing needs dictate.
