TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester, New York, 14621!

Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 2026

Location: New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, every other weekend required

Highlights:

  • 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) serving as a critical care step-down unit in a 528-bed tertiary care hospital
  • Care for adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous telemetry and pulse-oximetry monitoring
  • Diverse case mix including airway management, BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated IV infusions
  • Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7, with strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
  • EPIC charting system with 24 hours of orientation provided
  • Float opportunities to ICU or medical-surgical units

Requirements:

  • Active New York RN license required prior to submission
  • Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience; travel nursing experience preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with telemetry, step-down/progressive care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, respiratory support (nasal cannula, oxygen masks, BiPAP/CPAP), and arterial line management
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
