The unit supports a variety of patient diagnoses including abdominal transplants, infections, and uncontrolled diabetes. Nurses will not be expected to care for ICU level patients. Travelers will work exclusively in the Progressive Care Unit. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Special equipment includes telemetry systems and bladder scanners. Candidates must be compliant with credentialing processes. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a supervisory role. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
