Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: IV start experience mandatory Telemetry experience required Description: Weekdays and some weekends are required. Rotating holidays may apply. Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3. Experience in PCU is mandatory. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Specific skills required include IV start and telemetry experience. Staffing and Scheduling: Must be available to float to different units as needed. Weekend coverage is required. Two instances of pre-approved time off are allowed. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a manager or director. No coworker references will be accepted. Former employees may be eligible for a travel assignment after being away for six months or more. Current employees are ineligible for traveler positions. Education must be from an accredited program.
