Description:
Replacing a departing nurse.
Responsible for the care of intermediate care unit patients.
The patient population includes a mix of medical-surgical, tele-health, cardiac, neuro, and CVA patients.
Charge responsibility is required, and appropriate pay differential and training will be provided.
Travelers must work at least one major holiday, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
All requested time off must be submitted in the application packet.
Work history must include a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Candidates must explain any gaps in work history exceeding 90 days.
A nurse skills checklist and a copy of the nursing license are required.
It is a teaching environment, and team members are expected to support students and new hires.
Charge experience and familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
Floating to other units is not required.
Unit schedules typically follow a pattern of 2 out of 3 weekends per month, based on unit needs.
