Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid state nursing license in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to pass the telemetry test - Experience in monitoring telemetry patients - Epic experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a progressive care unit setting. Responsibilities include starting IVs, monitoring patients, administering medications, and patient education. Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates must be familiar with general nursing skills including lab work and medication administration. Knowledge of blood product administration, heparin protocols, and management of dysrhythmias is required. Interdisciplinary support will include teams such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidate must have experience in wound care and isolation precautions. Certified references from managers or supervisors are needed for submission. Floating to other areas may be required if not needed on the home unit. The candidate will work with a patient ratio which promotes high-quality care. Candidates should be aware of process requirements and compliance deadlines after signing a contract. Responsive and cooperative behavior is expected throughout the credentialing process. All submissions must align with required documentation and experience criteria.
