Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,214 per week in Lexington, KY

Candidates must have experience with CVAs, intracranial bleeds, laminectomy, neuromuscular disease, pre/post neurosurgery, post TPA care, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, stroke scale, traumatic brain injury.

Telemetry experience is required. ICU experience is a plus. Neuro/stroke experience preferred. License: Kentucky License or Compact License required. Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. Candidates must have experience with CVAs, intracranial bleeds, laminectomy, neuromuscular disease, pre/post neurosurgery, post TPA care, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, stroke scale, traumatic brain injury. Description: This position requires candidates to work 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. This is a position within a stroke Progressive Care Unit. Candidates may be required to float to other Progressive Care Units as needed. Compliance with BLS, ACLS, EKG onboarding exam, NIHSS, math exam, med/pharmacology exam, progressive care competency exam, and progressive care skills is necessary. Comprehensive Stroke Center experience is advantageous. Candidates must be willing to float within the facility or to an affiliate facility nearby. Candidates should be prepared to work 3 out of 5 winter holidays. Local travelers within a 100-mile radius are not eligible. A reference is required at the time of submission. Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must indicate their eligibility for rehire on their profile. Rehire eligibility will be checked on a regular basis. Modules, which are completed during orientation and annually, are billable and not included in non-billable hours.
