Ability to perform drip titration, if experienced; otherwise, may float to MedSurg/Tele units
Description:
This position requires 1+ years of experience in Stepdown or Med/Tele nursing.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
An Indiana RN or compact license is required.
The nurse will not work alone and will have a support staff.
Three weekend shifts are expected in a 4-week schedule.
Floating to like units is required when needed, including PCU to MedSurg.
This unit consists of 12 beds.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 3-4:1 in Progressive Care and 4-5:1 in MedSurg.
Caribbean blue scrubs are the dress code.
Travelers must complete the Jumpstart program and EPIC training before starting on the unit.
The cancellation policy allows for up to 24 hours of cancellation during the assignment.
The charting system utilized is EPIC.
