Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in High Point, NC. This role involves working in a community-based hospital environment, which boasts a teaching hospital, chest pain center, and stroke center. If you have a minimum of one year of experience in cardiac telemetry or PCU, this could be a perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU- Monitor cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic status of patients
- Care for post-operative day 2 open heart surgery patients
- Administer pharmacological titration for cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips
- Provide respiratory care with medium/high flow oxygen devices or NIPPV
- Engage in non-invasive ventilator care and post procedure site care
- Participate in patient care activities and continuous cardiac monitoring
Requirements of the RN - PCU- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to interpret cardiac strips and rhythms
- Skills in non-invasive ventilator care and vascular line management
- Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
