4W Ortho/General Surgical PCU is a 40-bed unit.
Ratios are 4:1 and could flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity.
EMR used is Epic.
Floating is required; travelers are the first to float and may float to other sister campuses.
Culture is very important.
Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff does.
All required time off must be submitted upfront.
No exceptions will be made for pending documentation.
