Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Cath experience Description: Travelers must have Cardiac Cath experience. Candidates who have no RTOT. Travelers must be able and willing to work all shift times: Days, Nights, and Mids. The facility is known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. It offers specialized services including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery, and High-risk Obstetrical Care. The facility has a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Critical Care, General Surgery, and more. All candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Weekly orientation is provided. Regional attractions include museums, an inclined plane, and performing arts. Local events such as amateur baseball tournaments enhance community engagement. Fingerprints must be submitted before candidates can be cleared. Clearances include Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, Department of Human Services fingerprinting, and FBI fingerprinting. Candidates must ensure compliance with clearance processes. Unit profile includes Tele/PCU with patient ratios of 1:5. Experience with cardiac common diagnoses/treatments such as CP, MI, and post-operative care is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude. Required education includes an RN degree. Scrub color is flexible with restrictions on unacceptable attire and piercings.
