Candidates must have 2 years of stepdown experience and prior travel experience. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:5 to 6. Floating is required between the medical floor, stepdown/ICU, and surgical/oncology units. The primary patient population will be stepdown patients rather than intensive care patients. Candidates must hold an active RN license and possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in stepdown units is mandatory, while ICU experience is preferred. Familiarity with the Epic electronic medical record system is desirable.
