Job Opportunity – ICU/PCU Registered Nurse – North Carolina
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday support required
Highlights:- 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with 2:1 ICU and 4-5:1 PCU patient ratios
- Medical ICU focus with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Cerner documentation system
- Charge nurse role out of staffing; relief charge performs nurse leader rounding
- Assist with bedside procedures including intubations and chest tube insertions
- Floating required as needed to support hospital operations
Requirements:- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Medical ICU experience in a large facility setting
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Advanced critical care skills including IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, and central line management
- Strong critical thinking skills with flexibility and collaborative approach
- Uniform: Navy blue or white scrubs
