TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit RN – Asheville, North Carolina

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. Patient ratios: 4:1 at grid, 5:1 when stretched. Floating to stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed.

Highlights:
  • 44-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in neurology and trauma patient populations
  • Collaborative team environment with 95+ clinical staff including dedicated CNCs, RNs, CNAs, and HUC support
  • EMR system: Cerner
  • Hands-on experience with advanced equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, patient lifts, and lumbar drains
  • Exposure to procedures such as neuro and spinal assessments, C-collar placement, TLSO bracing, blood transfusions, and feeding tube placement
  • Opportunity to develop critical care skills in a progressive, patient-focused setting
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Neurology and trauma care experience required
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Willingness to float to stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed
