This role involves working within a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel- Perform EKG rhythm interpretation and manage cardiac drips
- Administer and monitor insulin and heparin drips
- Execute peritoneal dialysis and other unit-specific procedures
- Provide high-quality stroke and post-cardiac cath care
- Maintain effective communication using AIDET and communication boards
Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with bipaps, high flow oxygen, and multiple oxygen delivery systems
- Critical thinking skills and expertise in peripheral IV skills
- Preferred experience in peritoneal dialysis and tube feedings
