Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU- Provide acute care to patients with various diagnoses
- Receive and assess admitted patients from the ED
- Complete Admission Assessments and Medication Reconciliation
- Initiate acute care orders for enhanced patient care
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient patient throughput
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step-Down
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Charge Nurse experience or willingness to consider is appreciated
