Description:
Position requires a Registered Nurse in a PCU setting.
The nurse must manage telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms.
Experience with dysrhythmias and O2 protocol is essential.
The role includes peripheral line care and management.
Isolation precautions and PPE experience are necessary.
The clinician must be able to activate rapid response teams.
Computerized documentation experience is required.
Patient ratios vary, typically 1:4-6.
The nurse will float if needed within the facility.
The team supports a variety of adult inpatient care units.
Flexibility in scheduling is required.
Providers with experience in managing cardiac drips are preferred.
Support for a range of patient diagnoses is expected.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
The nurse will also provide support to other units when holding patients.
