Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 20, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Progressive Care Unit with hybrid step-down and telemetry assignments. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4.

Highlights:

  • 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac population
  • Case mix includes STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain protocols
  • Experience with cardiac drips required (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
  • Hybrid unit model with step-down and telemetry bed assignments based on patient acuity
  • Medical/surgical patient population in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Opportunity to work in a high-volume facility with diverse cardiac care experience

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure)
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive care, step-down, or telemetry experience in a similar-sized facility
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and cardiac drip protocols
  • Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required upon hire
