Description: The role requires a registered nurse with 1 to 2 years of experience in a progressive care setting. This position involves a patient ratio of 1:5. The nurse will float between multiple units as needed. The nurse must possess skills in cardiac telemetry, emergency response, and monitoring. Experience with sepsis management, wound care, and post-cardiac catheterization is essential. The nurse should also be skilled in IV therapy and phlebotomy. Weekend shifts are mandatory, with a total of 8 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period. The nurse will participate in holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as required by the unit. Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed. This position does not have on-call requirements.
